FemTech insights from a return to Stanford
๐ If only all work trips could be in sunny California!
Kicked things off with a meeting by the Marina, where I had the pleasure of chatting with Sara Naseri about Qvin and the immense untapped potential of menstrual effluent research. Itโs inspiring to witness just how much has been accomplished in the past decade and the promising future ahead. ๐ฉธ
Visiting the The Stanford d.school brought back memories (and maybe a few flashbacks!) from countless hours in the PRL. It was inspiring to catch up with former teachers, David Kelley and Brett Newman, whoโve been guiding so much evolution there. Connecting with current students like Yaayaa Pajibo who shares a strong interest in womenโs health, was a great reminder of how passionate the next generation is.
At the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, I joined the #FemTech club mixer with my former colleague Priyanka Seegobin and was thrilled by the growing interest in this field among both entrepreneurs and investors.
And as a bonus, I caught up with my hashtag#fieldhockey friends at the annual Stanford Alumni game. It was awesome to see the next generation of collegiate hockey players from The Kinkaid School and St. John’s School! ๐
Returning to Stanford was a refreshing blend of reconnecting, reflecting, and recharging. Grateful for the inspiration and fresh perspectives gained. ๐
